Hi all, can anyone tell me if i can put driftwood in my tank that i collected from the murry river? i have highpressure cleaned the wood and i was told to soak
it in a bucket for a month or more. Is this correct and would it be ok?

all the wood in my tank has been collected from the murray and other rivers so it should be fine. just give it a good clean and it should be fine. the soaking
is probably to get rid of any tannins that the wood will leach into the water but since it is from a river i would not think it would have that many and should
be fine to put straight into the tank.

If its not too big try boiling the wood to get rid of any nasties that may be on there.
