        I am currently building an automatic CO2 controller based of a pH sensor and digital display. I have one question though what pH values should I use to
control the CO2? I can set the CO2 to turn on at 7.5 and off when the pH drops to 7 or should the CO2 turn off at 6.5? I think this is how the expensive units
you can buy work but if anyone knows exactly how they work I would be very grateful. Also is there a value I should set my kH at to help the pH control work?

i have a beautiful 6 foot tank, heavily planted with grasses, amazons, crypts and val, and it&#39;s full of tetras amd other small species.

i am thinking of removing the small fish and introducing several large fish.

I&#39;m really looking to buy 4 or 5 large fish for dramatic impact, and which will not eat plants.  I don&#39;t have enough bravery for discus due to the
upfront cost....

to settle on a mix of live and plastic.  I have banana lillies which grow vey well, and also some dark green fern thing on driftwood that grows quite well.  I
am limited I know by the amount of light I get into the tank - and that is not going to change
