I have a 4 year old Red-Finned/Rainbow Shark that has been unwell for almost a week now. He/she is usually very active and is visibly swimming around the tank
most of the day. When feeding time comes around he would be first to the food. We have a 4ft tank with a couple catfish and mainly tetra species, not many fish

i have a relatively young flower horn who recently contracted some sort of ectoparasite (i suspect it may be ich, but it didnt look exactly the same, only
similar), and i treated it with these tablets which kill ectoparasites. after about a couple of days of treatment, the parasites seemed to have been killed off
her. but now she doesnt seem to be swimming straight. she would swim in a kind of spiral fashion often lieing on the bottom of the tank on her side.

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a 30cm male red devil. 2 days ago I noticed he was very sluggish and not eating. He has string like threads and white pealing around his forehead and
eyes. No other fish in the tank have this problem. Hard to describe it as I&#39;ve never had it before. Could anyone help to identify this and what should I
use to treat this. I don&#39;t want to loose him as he is a fine specimen and have had him a long time.

			<title><![CDATA[ Parasite? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ This morning I noticed some &#39;parasites&#39; looking like mosquito wrigglers but I doubt it is one because its covered with cover glass.

I saw three wriggling at the top so I just pipetted them out thus far.

I&#39;ll have to check when I return home tonight.

I couldnt see any sick fish because of the rocks, but they all seem good,

If they are parasites, what medication would be suitable for African fry (still in mouth) and bristlenoses/BN fry?

I lost my catfish a bit over a week ago to some sort of fungal disease, and im looking at starting that tank back up again soon.

Its been completely drained and emptied of all substrate and what not.

But before i put anything back in there, i wanna give it a good clean/sterilize.

So im just wanting to know of the best way of going about this.

Whether it be super saturated salt wash, or a diluted bleach wash.
